The next day I toured the Monasterio de Santa Catalina. It was built in 1580 and initially the nuns were allowed to have servants until the church told them they had to stop. Now only a few nuns live there and most of the convent is open to tourism.
In the afternoon I went to Museo Santuarios Andinos an exhibit of Juanita, the Ice Princess . This was similar to the Cordoba museum I had seen earlier.
